Persija to be the next port for Ivar Jenner?

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Old rumors about the possibility of Ivar Jenner joining Persij Jakarta have surfaced again.

It is said that Ivar Jenner’s name is getting closer to joining Persija.

However, the possibility of the player joining is still 50:50 for the current situation.

This rumor has been widely discussed on social media, management stated that there has been no final decision regarding the transfer process.

Persija manager, Ardhi Tjahjoko, stated that until now he had not received confirmation regarding Ivar Jenner’s joining.

The player’s contract, which is certain to expire soon with FC Utrech, has made him linked with Persija Jakarta.

“I haven’t heard about Ivar Jenner’s confirmation,” said Ardhi Tjahjoko, quoted on Sunday (18/1/2026).

Supporters of the Capital team are also asked to remain patient and confirm news about the players associated with their proud team.

“Maybe later we will be like Maarten Paes too,” he said.

Ivar Jenner is indeed part of Persija’s plans

On the same occasion, Persija management admitted that there was indeed interest in this 22 year old player.

However, he admitted that he had not received the latest updates regarding the progress of the talks, including whether there was direct contact with the players.

“Indeed, there was discussion at that time,” he said.

“However, I haven’t updated the progress yet,” he said.
