Saudi Arabia was again bombarded with a series of missile attacks on Wednesday (11/3), as the war between its neighboring country, Iran, and the United States (US) and Israel continued. Riyadh announced it had intercepted the missile attacks, including those aimed at military bases on its territory.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense in its latest statement, as reported Al ArabiyaWednesday (11/3/2026), said that at least six ballistic missiles launched towards Prince Sultan Air Base had been intercepted and destroyed.
Prince Sultan Air Base is the location where dozens of United States (US) fighter jets are usually stationed.
In its statement, the Saudi Defense Ministry also announced that another ballistic missile was successfully intercepted and destroyed after being detected in the air in the eastern region of the country.
Apart from ballistic missiles, the Saudi air defense system also intercepted a series of drone attacks that rained down on the country throughout Wednesday (11/3).
The Saudi Ministry of Defense stated in its statement that a total of seven drones flying towards the Shaybah oil field had been shot down in the Empy Quarter area or Rub al Khali Desert.
Several other drones, the Saudi Defense Ministry said, had been intercepted and destroyed in the Al-Kharj and Hafar al-Batin areas.
The situation in the Middle East region has heated up since the US and Israel launched a large-scale joint attack on Iran on February 28. Tehran responded with a wave of missile and drone attacks on targets in Israel and Gulf states hosting US military assets.
The barrage of attacks continues to rain down on the Saudis even though Riyadh authorities have warned that Tehran will be the “most disadvantaged party” if the attacks continue.
Saudi authorities also said that Iran’s continued attacks “signal further escalation” and will have a major impact on current and future relations.
“We emphasize that Iran’s current actions against our countries do not reflect wisdom or interest in avoiding the expansion of a cycle of escalation, in which Iran would be the most disadvantaged party,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry stressed in its warning.
Saudi authorities also reaffirmed the country’s right to take any necessary action to protect its people, territory and sovereignty.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
