Creating content while driving, Bripka’s wife tells the story of flexing her Bhayangkari card when she was raided

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Social media was suddenly shocked by a video showing a Bhayangkari mother allegedly using her identity to escape a traffic raid.

The video immediately attracted public attention because it was recorded while driving and uploaded to social media.

In a widely circulated video, the woman tells of her experience when she was stopped by police officers in the Tugu Juang 2 roundabout area.

Create Content While Driving

While still driving, he said there was a raid by the Traffic Police (Polantas).

“Guys, there was a raid on the Tugu Juang 2 roundabout. And you know what? I was stopped,” he said in the video, quoted by dawn.co.id on Saturday (7/2/2026).

He then showed the Bhayangkari identity card which he had issued along with the vehicle’s STNK.

He said the card was upside down when shown to the officer.

“And I took this out, all the way back. Isn’t that right?” he said while showing the Bhayangkari card to the camera.

Traffic Police Immediately Give Way

The woman also described the response of the officers, who according to her immediately became friendlier after seeing Bhayangkari’s identity.

“Then she just smiled. Oh, Bhayangkari,” she said, imitating the officer’s reaction, while mentioning her husband’s name, Rahmat Walliansen.

He added that the officers had asked about the completeness of the vehicle documents, including the driver’s license.

However, because all documents were declared complete and his driver’s license still had a long validity period, he was allowed to continue his journey.

“Luckily his driver’s license was still alive and had a long term life. So it was safe, we passed,” he said.

It was later discovered that the woman in the video was named Riavera Andriani, the wife of Bripka Rahmat Walliansen.

The video drew comments from netizens who considered that Bhayangkari’s act of showing off his identity had the potential to harm the principle of equality before the law.

Apart from the alleged privilege issue, netizens also mentioned the act of recording content while driving. Because it could endanger safety and violate traffic rules.

Riavera Apologizes and Clarifies

After the video went viral on various social media platforms, Riavera immediately made an apology statement accompanied by her husband, Bripka Rahmat.

“I am Riavera, the wife of Bripka Rahmat. I consciously apologize to all parties for posting my video on social media which went viral and caused upheaval,” she said.

While bowing his head occasionally, he emphasized that his video did not mean to bring down the good name of the Bhayangkari organization and the National Police.

“Once again, from the bottom of my heart, I apologize profusely. And I promise not to repeat my actions again,” he said.
