FAJAR.CO.ID, TAKALAR – The young man from Parang Boddong Hamlet, Boddia Village, Galesong District, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi, claimed to have experienced acts of violence and extortion by a number of police officers.
The victim named Yusuf Saputra (20) said that the incident that happened to him occurred on Tuesday (5/27/2025) night, around 22:00 pm in the Galesong field area, the location which was then packed with visitors to the night market.
“I was hanging out on the field, suddenly around six (6) people came, then pointed a weapon to my head and then hit me. One of them I recognized, his name was Bripda Andika,” Yusuf said, Sunday (1/6/2025).
According to his confession, after the arrest incident, he was forced to get into the car and was taken to a quiet location.
There, Yusuf claimed to have received an inhuman treatment from the police officers who served in the jurisdiction of the Makassar Polrestabes.
“I was forced to join them, then brought to a quiet place. It was in that quiet place that I was tied to being persecuted and then told to open all my clothes, ranging from my clothes, pants to my pants. I was stripped naked by the police,” he said.
Not stopping there, Joseph also claimed that he was suppressed to recognize the possession of the Gorilla Tobacco type narcotics which was said to be owned by police officers, Bripda Andika.
But Joseph stressed that he had never touched the illicit goods.
He said that the torture process lasted for almost seven hours, until finally he was released after his family was squeezed.
