FAJAR.CO.ID, AMBON — The Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakerwil) of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) in Ambon was warm, as well as being a momentum for internal consolidation that was full of energy.
In front of the cadres, the Daily Chair of the PSI DPP Ahmad Ali emphasized that politics should be carried out with ethics and respect for service – values which according to him are increasingly fading in many parties today.
In his direction, Ahmad Ali highlighted the example of President Prabowo Subianto, whom he considered a leader who never abandoned history.
“Prabowo never forgets his skin. He always respects everyone who has been with him, even those who now have different choices. That is what is called a true leader, who has manners, has integrity,” stressed Ahmad Ali.
He then touched on the leadership style of a number of other parties which, according to him, often ignored cadres who had been fighting for a long time.
“There are many party leaders in this country who quickly forget their services. When their cadres have worked, have sweated, they are suddenly thrown away just because they are not in line. That is not leadership, that is moral failure,” he said.
Ahmad Ali again emphasized that Prabowo gave a different example: a leader who upholds loyalty, values service, and never ignores the role of the people who accompany him on his political journey.
“Prabowo has never erased history. He is not busy taking revenge. And most importantly he does not treat people like disposable goods. This is the leadership we must emulate,” he said.
