However, not necessarily men and women are immediately married to avoid adultery.

For this reason, the concept of ta’aruf is known in accordance with the demands of religion without the process of dating.

Ustaz Felix Siauw is one of the figures who is intensively discussing this matter. Especially among young people.

One of the discussed is openness and honesty in the process of getting to know each other during ta’aruf.

“Marriage is trading well, we can’t hide if this item is indeed what it means there is something that is lacking and all kinds of things we already say what it is,” he was quoted as saying on Saturday (5/31/2025).

After the honesty is just how the two parties will accept each other or reject it.

“Now you just have to stay, if you want to accept it well, if you don’t accept it, it’s okay,” he explained.
