Two things that must be pursued to prove the authenticity of Jokowi’s diploma

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Former echelon I of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs, Ronnie H. Rusli, again discussed the issue of former President Joko Widodo’s diploma.

Through a tweet on his personal X social media account, Ronnie H. Rusli mentioned this diploma issue.

“It’s clear that he has a diploma,” he wrote, quoted on Tuesday (9/12/2025).

According to him, there are several ways to ensure the authenticity or fake of this diploma.

Ronnie said there was a need to ask Jokowi directly about the title of his thesis.

Apart from that, it is also necessary to ask about evidence of Jokowi’s thesis being shown to the public by the UGM Forestry Faculty.

“Ask Jokowi what the title of Jokowi’s undergraduate thesis at UGM is,” he said.

“And ask for proof of Jokowi’s thesis to be shown to the public by the UGM Forestry Faculty,” he explained.

Not only that, he firmly said that these two things must be pursued to prove this diploma.

“Pursue these two to UGM because the undergraduate thesis supervisor will definitely have his or her signature on the thesis,” he said.

“In the past, Jokowi mentioned/claimed his name as his thesis supervisor. Does it match what is written in Jokowi’s UGM undergraduate thesis at the Faculty of Forestry if you want to know the truth,” he explained.
