FAJAR.CO.ID, TURKI – Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, was furious after the Soroka Hospital in Beersheba City was attacked by Iranian missiles on Thursday (6/19/2025). He cursed the attack and immediately replied.

“This morning, terrorist dictators from Iran fired missiles to the Soroka Hospital … and to civilians in the center of this country. We will make the tyranny in Tehran pay a very expensive price,” Netanyahu wrote in a post on his personal X account.

Iran said the main target of the attack that hit the Soroka Hospital was an Israeli military intelligence site, not a health facility.

Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, also responded to Israel’s complaints related to his hospital which was hit by an Iranian missile attack. He said, the Israeli claim was hypocritical and playing Victim.

Erdogan also compared him with Israel’s actions towards the hospital in Gaza. Israel has been hundreds of attacks on health facilities in Gaza.

“Israel complained about damage to his hospital today, but so far it has carried out more than 700 attacks on health facilities in Gaza alone,” Erdogan said, during a speech at the Youth Forum for Islamic Cooperation Organizations launching Al Jazeera, Saturday (5/21/2025).

Even Israel’s attack, said Erdogan, has destroyed more than 90 percent of Gaza’s infrastructure.

“Bombing 35 hospitals, killed nearly 1,000 health care workers, and destroyed 94% of Gaza health infrastructure,” said Erdogan, reporting Turkiye Today.

Erdogan highlighted the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza. People face hunger and violence in the midst of ongoing conflict.
