Daily Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party DPP or PSI Ahmad Ali supports the Corruption Eradication Commission’s recommendations regarding party governance, one of which is limiting the leadership period of political party general chairs (ketum) to a maximum of two terms. He considered this to be a good thing to do so that there would be no cult of the party leadership.
“For us, it’s important. It’s important, because why? We don’t want cults to occur in political party institutions. So what happened today was cults against the general chairs of political parties because of what? Because they have been in institutions or become party chairs for too long,” said Ali when contacted, Friday (26/4/2026).
Ali believes that currently there is a phenomenon as if the position of party chairman is an inheritance. He said the proposals submitted by the Corruption Eradication Commission were rational.
“In the end, it seems like the party chairman has become a legacy. In my opinion, this is a very, very rational proposal because the main function of a political party is to carry out cadre formation,” he said.
He said those who disagree have the potential to build an empire within the party. He views that this proposal will shape the cadre formation in the party for the better.
“Well, if there is a party that doesn’t agree, because they want to institutionalize their family, what is the term, they want to build a kingdom, then in the end the political party institution will no longer carry out its function as a cadre function,” said Ali.
“He became the head of the party and became a family institution there. What is proposed by the political parties, in my opinion, will further revive the cadre function of the political parties,” he added.
PSI also suggested that if there are political party cadres who commit corruption, there should be sanctions given. He said that in this way the cadre system in the party was running.
“In fact, PSI suggests that if there is a political party whose cadres are caught in many corruption cases, for example, at the ministerial level. Yes, that should be questioned. Or then sanctions need to be formulated,” said Ali.
“What does it mean? It means that the cadre function in the party is not working. I can’t believe that there is a minister, there is a political party that has three ministers, all three of whom are involved in corruption cases,” he continued.
Ali views that there is a role for the party and its general chairman when cadres commit corruption. He hopes that moral standards will be applied regarding the position of party chairman.
“It’s impossible that it’s just for individual interests. We definitely believe that there must be involvement or then the ministers appointed by the party are being manipulated by the party or the general chairman of the party to enrich himself or his party,” he said.
For your information, the Corruption Eradication Committee has conducted a study regarding political party governance to prevent corruption. One of them, the Corruption Eradication Committee proposed limiting the leadership period of political party general chairs to two terms.
This study was carried out by the Corruption Eradication Committee in 2025 through the Monitoring Directorate. The Corruption Eradication Commission found four points that needed to be addressed in the political party system in Indonesia and made 16 recommendations.
“To ensure cadre formation takes place, it is necessary to set the leadership limit for the party general chairman to a maximum of 2 management periods,” said one of the recommendations in the results of the KPK study, Thursday (23/4).

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
