Ari Lasso revealed his frustration to Wami

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Musician Ari Lasso expressed his annoyance to the Indonesian Music Wahana (WAMI).

In his upload on Instagram, Ari shared his conversation with Wami.

“Mas @adiadrian22 last night you called me, I received well. I had asked permission to be recorded but he refused. I respect,” he was quoted on Thursday (8/21/2025).

Although he claimed not to have proof of direct conversation with the party, but Ari remembers the core of his explosion.

The first thing discussed is the matter of Wami which according to Ari has an error in the system.

“Mas Adi acknowledged the stupidness that his team did,” he continued.

Ari regretted that Wami’s actions were held accountable, but instead his party did not act.

“When I attacked the negligence, why did not immediately counter. Apologize and send data,” he explained.

The conversation got heating up when his party said that he had given a transferer to Ari from Royalti’s works.

“Mas Adi said that you accept tens of millions of rupiah, you know. Me: Oh yeah, wow, if I apologize. I will admit that I will not be aware of being transferred,” he added.

The conversation actually encountered a bright spot and Wami claimed he would not discuss this to maintain his good name too.

Unfortunately, Wami instead made a clarification without Ari’s knowledge. Ari, who originally wanted to apologize directly, felt that he was pursued.

“And you help, start by reversing the desire to apologize. Kendα prank me,” he wrote.

The issue of recent royalties is indeed quite troubling. Not only to the community but also musicians who incidentally should be more prosperous when receiving payments from their work. (Elva/dawn).
