South Sulawesi Railroad Review, will integrate with terminals and ports

FAJAR.CO.ID – South Sulawesi Railway Station (South Sulawesi) will be integrated with ports and terminals. The integration between the station and the bus terminal and the port is planned to be carried out at Mandai Station and Garongkong Stadium.

The Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi reviewed the implementation of the Makassar-Parepare railroad transportation, in South Sulawesi, Monday (11/8). Menhub Dudy also checked the master plan (master plan) of the South Sulawesi train station to be integrated with ports and terminals.

Dudy said that he immediately integrated the South Sulawesi train station with ports and terminals to facilitate connectivity, logistics efficiency, and encourage regional economic growth in a sustainable manner.

“The train plan (master plan) of the train in South Sulawesi will later be integrated with the Port of Garongkong and New Port Port, and also with the bus terminal,” said Minister of Transportation Dudy while reviewing the implementation of the Makassar-Pare Pare train transportation, in South Sulawesi, as a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

The Minister of Transportation also checked the South Sulawesi train station master plan to be integrated with the port and terminal. “We want the integration of this intermoda to be realized in South Sulawesi,” said the Minister of Transportation.

The Ministry of Transportation will integrate the station and the bus terminal at Mandai Station. The Mandai Integration Bus Terminal will be built on the Mandai Station area.

Land acquisition has provided a total area of 16.4 hectares, while land that has been utilized to build stations and new access roads is around 1 hectare.
