The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) through the Directorate of Madrasa Institutional and Student Facilities (KSKK) Ensuring the Love -Based Curriculum (KBC) runs in the 2025/2025 school year. The goal is that learning in madrasas is more humanist and based on affection values.
Director of Madrasah KSKK, Nyayu Khodijah explained that KBC was a major commitment of the Ministry of Religion to create a superior and global competitive generation.
But not only his academic ability, madrasa graduates are expected to be a grounded figure, have human values, and spirituality.
KBC according to Nyayu is not an ordinary curriculum. But the curriculum is characterized by character, humanity, and affection.
“This is not only a matter of curriculum, but a love -based education movement, empathy, and real humanity. Madrasas must be a pleasant and value growing space,” he was quoted as saying on the Directorate General of the Ministry of Religion, Thursday (5/15/2025).
For the initial stage of implementing KBC, the Ministry of Religion appointed 12 madrasas throughout Indonesia to become a pilot school. This appointment is contained in the Task Letter Number 79/Dt.II/04/04/2025 which was officially signed by Nyayu on April 25, 2025.
KBC will apply at all levels of both Raudhatul Athfal (RA), Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), and Madrasah Aliyah (MA). The Madrasah List that will become a pilot school, namely:
KBC pilot madrasa will be responsible for supporting the success of the implementation of a love -based curriculum. KBC implementation will be present in all teaching and learning activities.
Such as preparing documents, learning planning, assessment, and reporting based on the value of affection. Madrasas are also asked to document good practices that arise during the KBC implementation.
In addition, madrasas are also required to report program implementation to the Madrasah KSKK Directorate. Reports can be submitted through the Ministry of Religion in the Regency/City and the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of each Province.
Nyayu hopes that KBC will not only educate students. But also able to foster good characters for students.
