Latest News: Polda Metro Helps Clean Prayer Rooms Which Were Submerged in Floods in East Jakarta

The Samapta Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya helped clean the prayer room in the Kampung Melayu area, East Jakarta (Jaktim). The prayer room was flooded and filled with mud.
“We carried out activities to clean the prayer room which was previously flooded. This activity was carried out together with the community,” said Dirsamapta Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Wahyu Dwi Ariwibowo in his statement, Monday (9/2/2026).
A total of 10 Sie Pammat Ditsamapta Polda Metro personnel led by Kasi Pammat AKP Ali Hajar assisted in the clean-up process. The members involved cleaned every corner of the prayer room so that it could be used again by the community.
“Members comb every corner of the prayer room to ensure that the prayer room is clean so it can be used for worship activities,” he said.
Wahyu added that this activity was a form of Polri’s concern for the community. Polda Metro Jaya, said Wahyu, is ready to help people in need.

“The National Police is ready to help people in need. This activity is a form of service to the community,” he said.
