FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA-The State Civil Apparatus (ASN) must be prepared, the article, 1,700 to 4,100 State Civil Apparatus (ASN) will be transferred to the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN). That was after President Prabowo established IKN as the capital of political.
The determination was through Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 79 of 2025 concerning Updating the Government Work Plan of 2025. Signed President Prabowo Subianto recently.
“Planning and development of the area and transfer to the Capital City of the Archipelago was carried out as an effort to support the realization of the Capital City of the Archipelago to become the Capital City of Politics in 2028,” the Perpres said in an attachment quoted on Friday, September 19, 2025.
In the regulation it was explained that the target of IKN development by focusing on the central government of the government (KIPP) and its surroundings.
In addition, for the implementation of the transfer and administration of governance in the Capital City of the Archipelago, the Prabowo government also targets a number of things including the amount of transfer and/or assignment of ASN to the Capital City of the Archipelago.
The ASN to IKN assignment reached 1,700-4,100 people, and the scope of the intelligent service of the Capital City of the Archipelago which reached 25 percent.
To realize this, Prabowo detailed the target of implementing IKN development with a focus on the central government of the Government Center (KIPP) and its surroundings.
- The area of the core area of the central government of the capital city of the archipelago and its surroundings which was built reached 800-850 hectares.
- The percentage of building/office construction in the Capital City of the Archipelago reached 20 percent.
- The percentage of residential/household construction is decent, affordable, and sustainable in the Capital City of the Archipelago reached 50 percent.
- The coverage of the availability of basic infrastructure facilities for the Capital City of the Archipelago reaches 50 percent.
- The accessibility and connectivity index of the Nusantara City area is 0.74.
