Corruption case of East Kolaka Regional Hospital, the KPK will call Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The process of investigating the alleged corruption of the RSUD construction project in East Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, continued to be carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

One of them is the possibility of examining the Indonesian Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin.

“Yes, we will certainly consider it,” said the Acting Acting and Execution of the KPK, Asep Guntur Rahayu was reported by JPNN, Friday.

One of the reasons for the KPK to examine the Minister of Health was because Budi Gunadi Sadikin was found to be present when laying the first stone for the construction of East Kolaka Regional Hospital on May 3, 2025.

“Is it only in the laying of the first stone (the placement of the first stone, red)? This is important to reveal this,” he said.

It was explained that the summons of someone to be a witness was when he saw, listening, and knowing, and was considered to have important information for the disclosure of alleged corruption cases handled by the KPK.

It is known, the KPK on August 9, 2025 announced five suspects in the alleged corruption case in the construction of RSUD in East Kolaka Regency.

The five suspects referred to namely; The East Kolaka Regent for 2024-2029 Abdul Azis (ABZ), the person in charge of the Ministry of Health for the construction of Andi Lukman Hakim (AlH) Regional Hospital, the Commitment of the RSUD construction project in East Kolaka Ageng Dermanto (AGD), as well as two employees of PT Pilar Smart Putra on behalf of Deddy Karnady (DK) and Arif Rahman (AR).

Deddy Karnady and Arif Rahman played the role of bribery suspects. While Abdul Azis, Andi Lukman Hakim, and Ageng Dermanto are suspects in bribery.
