FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) finally revealed a case of alleged corruption in the East Kolaka Regency Government (Kotim), Southeast Sulawesi, to the end of the Operation Catching Hands (OTT).
Acting Deputy for the KPK’s Enforcement and Execution, Asep Guntur Rahayu at the KPK Red and White Building, Jakarta, Thursday (7/8), said that a series of OTTs carried out by the KPK was related to the alleged corruption practices or bribery of the Special Allocation Fund (DAK).
Asep said, the practice of bribery related to the DAK for the construction of hospitals. Unfortunately, the KPK has not yet specified the construction of what hospitals are related to the OTT process.
Likewise, the KPK has not revealed any evidence that was successfully confiscated or found in the OTT process of state officials and private parties.
“Related to the case, related to the DAK Hospital construction, DAK funding for the construction of the hospital. Improving the quality or status of the hospital,” said Asep.
Asep then explained that the OTT series occurred in three locations. He mentioned that the KPK team that moved in Jakarta succeeded in securing 3 people, while the team engaged in Southeast Sulawesi secured 4 people.
“Regarding the arrests of hand that are done today, I have said that there are 3 locations, which have arrived here, namely the team in Jakarta by carrying or securing 3 people, then the team from Kendari or Southeast Sulawesi, we secure 4 people,” explained Asep.
Therefore, Asep ensured that for the time being there were at least 7 people who were secured in the quiet operation.
