FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The distribution of wage subsidized assistance (BSU) has been carried out by the government in the last few days. The assistance was sent through the recipient’s account at the bank or through the post office.
Regarding the distribution of BSU, the Ministry of Manpower said the total BSU that had been channeled and received by beneficiaries had reached 8.3 million recipients.
“The total that we have distributed is 8.3 million people,” said Minister of Manpower, Yassierli at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Monday (7/7).
According to him, the distribution of BSU worth Rp600 thousand was carried out with two mechanisms, namely through BUMN/Himbara Bank and PT Pos Indonesia.
Menaker revealed that distribution via PT Pos still takes about one week to the recipients.
“What is not yet large (channeled) from the (mechanism) of PT Pos, and this does take time. Then, we channel it through the bank (Himbara) because there are still results of verification and validation of data that seems like we have to re -check,” he said.
According to him, this was done because his party wanted to ensure that the distribution was right on target.
“So, even though there is data, we have to check the account number, check (validate) from BPJS Employment, then we confirm to the bank, from the bank we check the account number again, okay, we make a payment warrant, and so on,” he added.
On the other hand, Menaker Yassierli ensured BSU given to workers who needed not to be used for online gambling practices (Judol), following concerns about the findings of the Financial Transaction Reporting and Analysis Center (PPATK) related to the alleged abuse of social assistance (Bansos) by the recipient.
